Tacky Light Tour

If you’re going to take the Tacky Light Tour, make sure you take it with the company that did the very first Tacky Xmas Decoration Contest and Grand Highly Illuminated Lights Tour with Mad Dog in 1985. We are "The Original" one and only choice for your authentic Richmond Tacky Light Tour!

Mayor Dwight Jones made an official proclamation in 2010 of Richmond’s Tacky Light Tour Day with Winn Transportation as the host and founder. Accept NO substitutes.

The Christmas House

Winn Transportation partners every year with Frank Hudak. You might know Frank by his real name "Mr. Christmas" and Frank’s home has been known in Richmond for well over a quarter century as “The Christmas House,” with four miles of holiday wiring. Visitors will find 70,000 lights in the display for a total of over 40,000 watts in his Wistar Court cul-de-sac. Many items such as the stable, guardhouse, church, candy canes and multi-colored star are created in the Hudaks’ own workshop.

An organization that is near and dear to Frank’s heart is the Waypoint (formerly Virginia Home for Boys and Girls) and this year we again honor Frank by donating a portion of our Tacky Light Tour proceeds to them. We are lucky to be able to call Mr. Christmas our friend and we look forward to many more years of successful partnership in Richmond’s Christmas bounty known world-wide as the Tacky Light Tour Capital of the World!
